Week 8 | Recipe 8: Easy Mexican Sour Cream Dip

This was a last-minute pinterest find, and it’s certainly easy AND delicious. We were planning a game and friends night, but wanted to do something quick {ie: appetizers/small bites}… we needed company and laughter!
Honestly. Take the minute this takes to make and enjoy it until it’s all gone!

Here’s where the recipe can be found- and I always try to give full credit!

Easy Mexican Sour Cream Dip

Prep time: 3 minutes
Total time: 3 minute {I wasn’t joking}


  • 16 ounces sour cream, reduced fat is fine
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 2 teasponns dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup red salsa
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese
  • tortilla chips for dipping


  1. Stir everything together except the chips.
  2. Dip the chips into this tasty concoction and enjoy!

*You can use 1/2 a packet of dry ranch mix instead of the herbs- but it certainly taste better with the herbs.


So delcious and super easy, honestly!

I wasn’t lying- haha- it’s super easy and multiple people commented on how delicious this was! Enjoy with fritos, tortilla chips, whatever you have in the pantry!
