Cajun Salmon

Ya’ll- this is such a simple recipe and it is absolutely delicious! Seriously though, try it, and be so happy that you know me and read this post. LEMONS make it better, be sure to use fresh lemon juice. {It’s Whole30 compliant!}

Cajun Salmon

-2 salmon fillets (size is dependent on your needs)
-1 large lemon + zest of said lemon
-Olive oil
-Cajun seasoning (see here & below)

Preheat oven to 400*F, drizzle olive oil on oven safe baking sheet/pan. Cover salmon fillets in oil and rub cajun seasoning on both sides. Place salmon fillets skin side down and squeeze half of lemon over top of salmon. Zest the lemon over the salmon. Bake 15-20 minutes (times may vary depending on size of salmon you have). Serve with remaining lemon juice. ENJOY!

Cajun Seasoning mix
-1 tablespoon smoked paprika
-2 teaspoons salt
-2 teaspoons garlic powder
-1 teaspoon ground black pepper
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-1 1/4 teaspoons dried oregano
-1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
-3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes {totally optional, but definitely worth it}
